Its sods law because usually I would have run it through google, but I took the work of my tutor. I happened to be walking out of the court on a day trip when I asked so never thought I needed to.

Shame on the Education system that you didn't know it was French! <whistle>
I had never come across it till I did law in 6th form and never actually became curious till uni.
 
You didn't do French at school? What have they done to the English curriculum?

Depending on which half of the year you were in would determine whether you did French or German for years 7/8 and then you had the choice to take Spanish or the other language or none. I got German and then chose to drop it for year 9 and did Spanish for my option.
