Sure every contract is capable of mediation in the event of a dispute. However, every contract that I have ever negotiated clearly states who the arbitration body will be. Now Suarez has said that he wants to go to the Premiership and has the support of the PFA (for what that's worth). However if the contract states another arbiter must be used (eg Court of Arbitration for Sport) or a commercial court of arbitration then that is where it legally has to be heard irrespective of what Suarez wants.
I wish everyone would see through this premadonna and back the club and stand by LFC. Luis certainly isn't going to be! Oh and we have to start giving the good players ****ty songs! Gerrard, Coutinho, **** songs they are here to stay!!
Because IF Suarez is right and there is such a clause that states a release figure then Suarez would have had us in court by now! What he is trying to do is to say that he has a verbal understanding which qualifies the written contractual clause. In legal terms Saurez has nothing.
At least Chelsea have a good enough squad to challenge and potentially win the PL, especially if they signed Suarez. If he went to arsenal then yes it would be a step up but he would only end up feeling like Van Persie when he was there, think it'll be pretty funny to see Suarez do exactly what he did to us but to Le'Arse instead. I say get Papa, Damiao/Costa and one other attacking player and **** Suarez off for £50m minimum.
We may well be happy to let him go, but that does not mean we have to let him go for buttons and to a direct competitor. If he can't see that..... he needs to get his head out of his arse
Also interesting that he doesn't mention arsenal at all. Just any cl club, pref in the pl. lets see if the chavs are interested
Would be nice if they could fly over for all this and this important month that could dictate this clubs direction for years to come...
I said 3 months ago there was no release clause through information from a friend, despite rumours circulating the press and papers about a 40mill clause. That ship long sailed when we rejected your second bid. You can join the Chavski fans who doubted me then but now look like morons for it, if you like. There's no release clause. If he goes, it's at our valuation. He hasn't got a leg to stand on contractually or we'd have been in court a month ago.
Finally Roland Rat says something that means this utter utter ridiculousness can be ended. 50mill minimum and he can go wherever, there's no point having him at the club now because he's just a vortex of negativity in everything he does with the exception of scoring goals. I wouldn't want that rubbing off on other players, not that they'd let it. Plus the arrogance of the guy is extraordinary. If it's a word of mouth agreement he's on about, no way will that stand up in court, the permission to leave would have to be written into the contract. Let him go to Arsenal do a season there, not win the CL then they'll have this crap to deal with in a year's time.
How funny would it be if we sold him to Arsenal for £50mil, then they failed to qualify for Cham League proper by getting knocked out in the qualifiers
@DaveHendrickTLW: If Arsenal lose to PSV we should accept their offer for Suarez. See what he says then.” No clue who he is but yes IBWT, yes.
By the way he (I'm not going to give him the dignity of a name) might just be the worst person of all time, ever. This is what he is to us now . Christ, it's all getting a bit Brokeback Mountain.
