Bradford knocked out in the last round of the League Cup last season; out in the first this.

Peskie was far too quick to issue a denial.

Suarez finally breaks wind....no sorry, silence...I know wind would break the silence aswell but...aagh! you know what I mean! :)

Personally I'd rather he didn't go to the Goons, if he does, he won't be in the first NLD at least, but in all seriousness he will strengthen them.

I wouldn't want him at Spurs, even if he was free. The club is too important to compromise values for short term gain. Unfortunately the modern view seems to be "win at all costs" which means tolerating players like that.

Perhaps some kind of poll might be in order?

On Taarabt's move to Fulham, anyone else think an attacking partnership of Berbatov and Taarabt is pretty flawed? Both lazy, egotistical sods.

And Ruiz who also has a tendency to stand around not doing a lot, but like Berbs and Taarabt can pop up with a bit of magic.

Fulham will certainly score some good goals this year!

he'll strengthen who ever he goes to. But with a 6 match ban at the start, plus the likely hood of further bans through out the season, he's as much of a liability as he is an asset.

It could be brilliant, it could be crap. I think there'll be plenty of days of both there next season. No doubt they'll both score against us when we play them, though :(

Apparently it's 3000 days ago since Arsenal last won a trophy.

I agree which means his value should be zero! And since I assume Arsenal will be paying him a salary they should be holding out for a negative transfer fee.

    Like it

But don't forget they keep winning the 'Wenger Cup' (the we're in the CL again trophy - though to be fair plenty of football fans think that that's more important than real silverware like the Lge Cup or FA Cup, or indeed the Europa League)

Would any Spurs fans take an FA cup over regular top 4 finishes?

Perfectly fair question. Those many fans (not just Spurs) who laugh at Arsenal's lack of success, will then often turn around and say it's better to make CL than win the FA Cup or whatever.

The appeal with regular top 4 finishes is that it gives you the means to compete for trophies and take the club forward. With Arsenal that hasn't really happened so if you're asking would I rather one trophy over none but with slightly higher league finishes, I'd rather the trophy.
