I think the alleged "dodgy start" of Bale is as much a media fabrication as much else they do because it's simpler that way. You know, like how Bale never won in his first N game for Spurs, implying all sorts of things, and recently we've had this stuff about how he was not valued at the time. Well I valued him and I'm sure posted comments as such, and a lot of others did too. This is all revisionist thinking now that the media is trying to set up some kind of contrast in the buying and selling price, and/or trying to point out how stupid Spurs were because they wanted to sell him for virtually nothing (or use him as some makeweight in other deals that never happened and for all I know are not true anyway). The same media that has given Anderton this sicknote description even though he made nigh on 500 career appearances over more than 15 years as a pro - significantly more than many other 'fully fit' players have made!

Roo's making the same connection that I did, as JamesPGreaves357 said that he left after a falling out over Lloris. His posting style's pretty different to Ghoddle10 though, IIRC. JPG357 previously posted as Greaves357. No idea what your password was though, sorry!

ensil started to lose the plot and was only on here to argue, or get a reaction but I didn't mind him yet he became obsessed. And if this greaves guy is ghoddle then hopefully he found his balls and can debate without placing people on ignore when he gets challenged over his views.
Yep, that was my name. But I couldn't remember it or my password, so came back as Greavesie. It was also useful as I had half the members on her on 'ignore' so best to start again, given the main issue I had was over Lloris, now thankfully no longer a 'live issue'. I hope things go better this time, but it's pretty inevitable I'll fall out with some people, I know this from before. I try to be polite, but I admit I do have 'challenging' views It's just I'm as furious over the fiasco that is currently our defence as I was over Hugo last season, so I couldn't contain myself any more and started posting again.
It's nothing to do with balls, it's to do with respect. I just don't understand why people have to be rude. I can take challenges to my views, what I can't take is personal insults. If you wish to leave that insult to my virility on record, that's fine by me. I'll just make you the first person to go on my new ignore list. Why do people have to personalise things on forums, I just don't understand it.
The easiest thing to do is just start over. It's been a little heated on here in the last 24 hours. let's not have the board going downhill with petty arguments, it'll just ruin what is a great community of interesting opinions.
If you're desperate for respect then calling someone spur pig isn't showing respect, is it? so don't play the innocent card, as you done that last time.
I wouldn't worry as he will have a temper tantrum and put me on his ignore list, so I've welcomed ghoddle back by reminding him of his innocent behaviour.
