What happened to the games in portugal or have I missed something? If it is our last game we have only played 2 behind the door games in Italy against poor opposition and the 2 games in Hong kong? Is that enough match practice? Whilst I expect our squad to be fitter than I have ever previously seen have our squad had enough actual match practice together? Not worried but was a bit surprised PDC played the same starting line up in the final in Hong kong. Have our squad players had enough playing time?

It's the last one mate. I don't mind. Friendly match tells us very little anyway. Sounds like they've been whipped into shape and focused heavily on tactics and technique so I'm happy.

We dont want to give too much away as to our new fitness levels, lure Fulham into a false sense and then unleash Cuellar on them from right back.

Good plan Danny. We unleash Cuellar from RB and score whilst they're helpless with laughter.

    Top thinking :)

Pre season games are an opportunity for injuries to occur and red cards to be picked up.

Its more about quality than quantity with Spurs & Citeh certainly being of a decent quality.

The hard work will have been put in on the training ground with tactics discussed in the class room then a couple of run outs to put the theory into practice, any shortfalls will then be addressed on the training ground and I suspect a further friendly behind closed doors if required.

Well you may laugh guys, but as a Fulham supporter - I think we are genuinely, completely in the dark as to what sort of Sunderland team we will face. I guess that's part of the plan.
