Who remembers that "life on mars",. You know the one when a mush is transported back to the 1970's . I was dozing on the sofa this afternoon and thought it had happened to me. I really thought I was back in the 1970's when the div 4 results came on. It was only when I realised it was guy witless, and not Ian st John making excuses that I remembered it was 2013.

Goals on Sunday is back. Danny Wilson and Gus Poyet the guests.

It's also the first time Gus can legally comment on what happened, so may have some potential.

So, from what Poyet said on Goals on Sunday...

Poyet says he was very disappointed by the manner in which Brighton announced his sacking.

He said that Brighton informed him after a week or so of negotiations about how to amicably split, that his release from contract was pending.

He spoke to Brighton and the parties agreed to meet in order to end the contract on Monday and Gus told them he was turning his phone off.

Then on Sunday night on BBC during the Confederations Cup coverage, Brighton made the announcement. He says he felt he deserved more respect.

He says there are three allegations standing against him, which he will be taking to court.

He says issues had arisen surrounding communication, because Gus and staff felt there was not adequate communication from those at the top.

He also says that there was an issue because of the chairman's intentions with regard to players in the following summer.

Says he was given permission to speak to Reading after an approach, but he never asked to leave, decided that Brighton was better than Reading for him.

A girl from my year at school who went off and had a kid has just posted on FB that she has entered her kid in a "cutest baby contest". So much rage building right now, the kid isn't even cute, as babies go.

I think there's an old saying that every baby is beautiful in its own parents eyes. Mind you, after seeing some of the recent news I think that old phrase needs to be scrapped.
