Suarez scores more, assists more, creates more and is wanted by a top 4 competitor... and should be valued as such. His personality issues aren't worth £35-50M worth of difference in fee are they?

EDIT: Of course I don't believe either Suarez or Bale are worth more than £50M (and 'worth' is in football bubble world terms). Madrid will be assuming they'll make half the fee back on shirt sales I imagine, also.

No 'WE' don't. Price is a relative thing. LFC are winning the war with Arsenal - offers rejected, no sulking from Suarez, no contract arbitrtion and then just to make the issue very clear Rodgers statement today regarding the relative value of Bale and Suarez.

In reality, by your argument, we don't know that 'pool will not sell for 40M yet. It is a bit weird you say Suarez isn't sulking, the whole thing started because Suarez wanted to leave and thought he had a Get out of jail free card. He may not be sulking but he isn't entirely happy at Liverpool either.
The Only club Suarez has said he wants to join is Real Madrid after that its all speculation as to what he thinks or how he feels. Stick to facts not some journos fevered

If you were winning the war you would not have a player that wants out and thinks you are not capable of making the top 4. The player also believes your club lied and deliberately deceived him, hardly winning the war is it.
As with my answer in #1534 give me chapter and verse from Suarez has stated any of this.
So why does he not just come out and say he does not want to join us? If he did the problem and speculation would be gone. You really are burying your head in the sand aren't you, if he does not want to join us fine, but by saying nothing, he is giving the game away.
Once there is a resolution there will be a "winner". At the moment Suarez hasn't exactly said he wants to stay either, has he now? In addition, his silence is actually more telling because in high profile transfer cases like this, the club will usually forbid the player from making any comments on their future away from the club. Happened with Cesc.
Well it's like we're ahead on away goals. If you score of course you win, but as things stand you are losing.
