With Bale and Solado, why not. We would have an awesome team. But knowing us we'll end up with neither and then it depends on how we spend our windfall.
Its getting to that time where is we make a lot of changes now we aren't gonna be ready for the start of the season, AGAIN. Whens the season start? Like 2.5 weeks or something. Not much of a preseason already.
Sell Bale, bring in Soldado, make 2-3 other changes. Thats would be the first 3-4 fixtures down the toilet.
Thinking positively though... Admittedly not something we are used to as spurs fans. Decent signings already made. Soldado and chicheres in soon. Bale staying on a shiny new one year extended contract. The past it's sold and levy to go crazy with the 20m or so brought in, in sales on deadline day to see if we can get any vdv's! Eriksen @ 12m, coentrao at 12m, hernandez, a young keeper, halilovic... All just about plausible. Mostly well prepped with some decent business! Obviously only one or two of these ha. We aren't made of money!

In non-Bale related news, former Spurs youth player David Button joined Brentford today to replace Simon Moore, who signed for Cardiff earlier in the week. I make that his 14th club now, hope he manages to make a go of it at Griffin Park and find some stability.

To be fair to Doncaster, he's going to train with them and then play in a reserve game for charity.
