That wouldn't make much of a match, just 3 players. As well as a lot of the names mentioned id like to see Whittle and Joyce.
I'd like to see Whittle, Goodison and Whitmore as well. I just hope Elliott is there most of all.... and that he scores one of his typical screamers.
Barmby may have been the best footballer this city has produced (not like there's a lot of competition), but his record at City is average at best. If he wasn't from Hull he'd be in the same category as somebody like Ryan France.
I always found it weird that we used to play Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis before kick off as well. It's a good song, but it's hardly something that'll get you pumped up for the match.
You don't count any of the great escape team as legends or more of the team that got us to the top division or played there for the first time in our history?
For me, a player who played for us at our lowest level cannot be a legend. Great battler, stalwart, hero etc but legend devalues the word, Legends- Andy Davidson, Billy Bly etc All the team who got us up in 2008 will go down in history as The Team. Some were better than others, some had served longer than others. **** it Andy, it should be Dawson's Super Tiger XI.....
