Baffled by the sale of Caulker, given we need cover at the back with Kaboul and now Verts coming back from injuries (with Gallas since released to boot), so we'd better have a ready-made replacement lined up.

Even more baffled that Huddlestone or Livermore have yet to be moved on. Surely they are far less likely to play first team games for us than Caulks ever was?

Isn't that the line-up we had at the San Siro last season? Bloody felt like it...

haha You still can't forget that memorable night! although if we had that back four, uefa may have had to punish their fans for chanting, a grand for each player targeted, no nonsense clamp down.

What a depressing day so far!! Selling Caulker has been a negative and right now we need 2 positives. One to balance out the negative and one just so we have a positive.
So on that basis I'm predicting 2 major signings tomorrow!

I'm feeling very deflated at the moment,if Bale goes i think i will concentrate on Sutton this season

Chin up tots! I am sure the club have a replacement lined up for Caulker and it will all make sense. Being Spurs fans we always fear the worst but here's hoping there will be some good news over the next few days with hopefully Soldado deal being completed being the first!

what we all need to do is chip in the pennies and buy one of those invisible cloaks from Harry Potter and give it to spurcat.

Then, we send him into levy's office and get the lo-down every evening about what's ACTUALLY going on.

simples.

Couldn't any of us do that if we were invisible?

Just saying if I'm putting in for this I at least want one day a week to use it.

Also you could just stand behind Bale and whisper into his ear, pretending to be his conscience.

Stay at Tottenham for life, announce it on Not606

LOL, the only reason I said Spurcat, is so we could go about our day to day lives as normal. Spurcat is far more likely to be in closer proximity to Levy & co, so it's easier for him <whistle>

I've been accused of being 'Arry. Who do you think of the posters on here might be Bale?

Puzzled by the Caulker sale. A promising young player. He might want first team football but with Gallas gone, Dawson and Kaboul regularly crocked and Vertonghen often at left back, surely he had a chance of some games at Spurs? Replacing with with an older player, probably new to the PL seems short sighted. The young players need to be be given a chance. If Caulker develops as expected, £8M won't buy his right leg.
