It looks like Suarez is not going to force anything so Arsenal will have to put in a £50M offer or stick with the French carthorse up front. I really don't think Wenger's ego will allow him to break the PL transfer record. We should have bought Higuain.

There were some on here who know more about his contract than Suarez his agent or Liverpool FC, surely they are not wrong?
To be fair, some of us remembered the Juan Mata ordeal, and knew Wenger wouldn't go for it.
Been saying for ages we won't sign Suarez, as usual, i was right.

No one gives a toss how many goals he scored. Lambert scored 15 goals. He's still an average player.
Sturridge's general play and ability is on par with Welbeck's. Him playing for Liverpool doesn't change that.
haha Them banging on about Coutinho too does crack me up. Looks like he has talent but he's done naff all. Nothing of note. Yet some Liverpool fans place him alongside the likes of Hazard, Cazorla, Mata, etc.

It's over. It was over the moment Higuain signed for Napoli. Liverpool are going to make us pay more, because they know we don't have another option.
I still don't think it'll be the 55 million they want, but i now don't see it being the 45-48 million i thought it would be.
They'll probably end up selling him to Madrid for £30 million, just to get him out of their team, and out of the league.

Why does every Liverfool fan focus on the £1, and seem to forget about the other £40 million?
This shouldn't effect 'good faith' negotiations between Liverpool and Suarez if the clause is for any offer over £40m.
Shoulda coulda woulda... but, you have Wenger, and fool you once shame on him, but fool you for 32 transfer windows - shame on you.

To be honest, i'll be happy once this whole damn saga is done with, that way the scouse fans can bugger off back to their own board.
We really should start drawing up a list of available strikers better than Giroud, because it's getting to the stage where anyone will do.
