Isn't this whole thing very wearisome? The longer it goes on the more I'm in line with frank - show us the money - I'll even gift wrap him for you.
If Suarez really wanted to go to Arsenal he would have handed in a transfer request by now. You can bet that if it were Real he would have handed it in already.
Exactly. However, I still maintain that I don't want to sell to Arsenal. Unfortunately, it looks as if Real are stepping up their interest in Bale. If they land their man, it looks unlikely they'll go in for Suarez as well.
Have you seen the gossip page? The rag came up with this: If this was true (and it clearly isn't), I'd snap there hands off!
Bloody hell. Two top class players and then another £50m to go out and buy 2 more top players. That's their squad sorted. Both LFC and Spurs do not have CL football but there appears to be a gulf in the playing squads.
Its patently false as while contreau has fallen out of faovur that doesn't mean he wants a cheap wage in london. same for di maria. 95mil is ridiculous. I think we'll find an undisclosed fee eventually as no matter what.... ronaldo moved to real as a cl winner etc. this boy has done nohting to make such a fee tenable.
Obviously it bollox Its not actually £95m either though is it? Its £51m plsu to players that Real bought for a combined total of £44m. I doubt they would get £44m should they sell the pair of them.
Personally I don't think he'll go anywhere and we'll all end up looking like a bunch of whining idiots. Real definitely want Bale and surely Spurs will have to sell for the money that's on offer. If Real wanted Suarez so much they'd have clearly made an offer as they have for GB and I can't see them acquiring both players.
Yep, thinking this myself. He hasn't said he wants to talk to Arsenal, hasn't handed in a transfer request and hasn't said anything other than it will be hard to say no to Real Madrid (no ****). The rest is completely made up by rumours which start to slowly become the truth in peoples heads due to the amount of articles printing it.
Um I think that's a bit ott though, Suarez clearly wants to leave to play CL (just not at Arsenal though ). His 3 (!) interviews in Uruguay were pathetic and his attitude since has been pretty poor, if it was an off the cuff remark about Real then why hasn't he come out and said he wants to stay at LFC?
We jsut don't know a thing about suarez. we've been in asia for 10 days and frankly the press have had a good time filling pages with ****e. now we are back maybe some clarity will emerge. Suarez has said nothing, ayre and rodgers (and henry) have said things. We will not know unitl hard and fast actions occur. Talk is cheap.... a journey to the emirates is not. If his agent talks to arsenal it will be leaked no question. then we'll need to see some rapid action.
He did say he was happy at liverpool and has a contract with liverpool - just no articles mention that over and over and over again, it's just in the main interview and then never brought up again as that doesn't attract viewers.
Yeah we do know he signed a new deal at the start of last season. we do know what he said at the confed cup. since that time everythign else is speculation, bar of course arsenal's unsuccessful bids. Hopefully with people back in the country clarity will come soon.
ah come on though, Rodgers has been answering to the media all week, if Suarez wanted to stay either Rodgers or Suarez would have said so and put this to bed. Suarez is being a slut and you know it
i suppose that is one way of looking at it. we might be quite happy to sell i guess and just wanting the right bid... we keep saying we want to kep him rather than we are keeping him and to go away. we even gave the price out.. a very high one but more of a yeah he's for sale but bid high rather than a go away like barca told utd... as we can see the press will write what they want to right anyway. I would be quite happy for us to sell at the inflated price and still think 40mil is good.
What's been made up? He's said he had 2 or 3 options & also that he'd not say no to Madrid, they're his words, not the fictitious ramblings of a hack. He's given 3 separate interviews re-iterating the same point. He's made it plain he wants out, you're kidding yourself if you believe anything other.
If this transfer window was going to be the last chance of LFC proving to Suarez that we are ambitious, then I can't blame him for wanting to leave ...
