Facepalm was due the complete lack of respect you showed towards those Liverpool players. fair enough, I can accept a lot would chose those players over ours but your point was about Suarez making space for those players to exploit which is something he was supposed to do for us with the players I mentioned. It didn't happen because Suarez is too busy trying to do it all himself.

You said Sturridge over Walcott. I'd say Gerrard over Wilshire (for now, especially considering injury records). Cazorla over Coutinho (again, for now) which leaves Podolski (clearly) over Sterling. IMO, there is not that much in it <ok>

Apologies if my response offended you, it wasn't my intention <ok>

To be honest, don't know much about Coutinho so won't judge him, but you are right, and I myself have been saying it, Sturidge Gerrard and Suarez all playing together is a very formidable strong line up which I do have a lot of respect for. Obviously if you lost Suarez, that would be a minus, but with 40 million, I'm sure you could easily replace it with 2-3 quality additional players.

Walcott is better than Sturridge. I'd take Wilshere over Gerrard all day long, same with Podolski over Sterling and Cazorla over Coutinho....

your an Arsenal fan so you would say that, no doubt you'll say the same about me being a Liverpool fan (although feel free to speak to the mancs to see how impartial I can be)

That's why it's a game of opinions <ok>

The BBC article on it is full of Liverpool fans going on about how its not a step up to Arsenal and how they are the bigger club. Stating that there sell out crowds in asia show how much bigger they are.... Do Liverpool think they are the only club on asian tours selling out grounds?....
Liverpool fans are only showing the same amount of resentment we showed when AFC sold Nasri,Fabregas,RVP etc.

I get being pissed off with there club if they sell, or being pissed off with the player for his actions, but i dont get the amount of them who don't think it's a step up to Arsenal.

Absolutely. At this moment in time it is a step up, maybe just not as big a step up as he could be making <ok>

Well they can say what they like, Suarez is interested, that's all that counts. We may not be your Manunited or Madrid in terms of success in recent years, but we do offer something Liverpool don't, and that's Champions League football. Plus Wenger also appeals to players too, to have a chance to play under Wenger, or Rodgers? Not much competition there.

And john I know nothing about football hendry think we are the ones smoking dope

Acc to Rory Smith of Times, Suarez now considering next step, whether or not to hand in TR. <ok>

Really do think that if we get him, it will be for the short term. Don't trust his long term ambition toward Arsenal at all if he signs. Could be wrong. Too early to say anything when the player has not signed for the team yet.

I think there's some differences with our sales and Liverpool, we sold 2 top players in 1 season in Fabregas and Nasri, and didn't properly replace them, so that's what pissed people off a lot. And then we followed it the next season by selling the next best thing in our team, RVP. With Arsenal, it was becoming a yearly trend to see us losing our top players, and with all the talk of how ambitious and big a club we are, that just pissed us all off.

Also the reason we resented selling RVP so much was for the above reasons I stated, and because it was United, yes I know we're rivals with Liverpool, but I could survive selling one of our top players to them, put it this way I'd have far less resentment if we sold Walcott to Liverpool than United, United is just UNFUCKINGACCEPTABLE sir.

We will put a nice big fat juicy 40 million clause, :-) to recoup everything if he does want to go in a year or 2.

It'd be lovely if Madrid came knocking on the door a season down the road, we could **** about with them and make it so tough on them just to get back at them for how they treated us with Higuain.

Enlighten me, what's funny? I only put one of our players ahead of yours and that was Gerrard over Wilshire which I also explained. It could be Downing versus C.Ronaldo, with the latter was injured for 85% of the time then I'd chose the former, and I really don't rate Downing!!!!

That would be ace. :)

There's already a ready made chant for Suarez:

He scores when he wants, he scores when he wantsssssss, Luis Suarez, he scores WHEN HE WANTS.

He has three years left on his contract and the club have been trying to make a stance of not being a pushover. Plus, Suarez won't sulk once the window has closed, nor can he refuse to play before then because he is banned anyway. He he does refuse to play after that, we can fine him two weeks wages every time he does it; tidy profit maker! On the other side, refusing to play won't help his career, see Tevez for more details <ok>

haha! the very thought of LFC punishing Suarez for being naughty is a joke right? It is isn't it? Surely....?

:p Just messing.
