Since Oxlade-Chamberlain, not one Saints player apart from Puncheon (briefly) has tried to get away from our club. All appear to be happy and content with their lot. As much as we are grateful to them for their hard work getting us back to the PL and staying up last season, the players must be grateful for the opportunity they have been given and the care that has been taken of them. This may change when we buy players who think they are bigger than the club, but so far we have no sign of it. Schneiderlin is unlikely to want to go.

Hate United. He should return to Arsenal.

If you want some of those teams in the top 6 to fall from grace so that we can jump in there, you'll be better served wishing for Arsenal to suffer than United.

Can we pretend Schneiderlin to united is an absolute impossibility because I'm getting quite genuinely concerned.

Calm Dan, calm.

I agree, this would be a torrid time if Lowe & Co were around. You can imagine them cashing in on the star players, but this is Cortese. Money is not a problem. If they really want Morgan they'll have to let him have their club before he says... OK..! :)

Morgan has often spoken of his enthusiasm for "the project" and I don't think he'll be looking for a move. If he continues to progress and we don't, then maybe in a couple of years, but right now I can't see him wanting to leave.

Apart from anything else, Morgan knows that he is now one of very few players whose place in the team is pretty much nailed down, Wanyama notwithstanding. Even if we get Ever Banega, Morgan will play most games. On the other hand, if Morgan goes to a top 4 club he will have to work that much harder just to get in the team, which might make him an even better player in the long term, but it will seem like an uphill struggle after all he has done to get us to, and keep us in the Prem. I think he would rather make the push to help us get to the top half and challenge for European places, but what do I know? He might just think "World Cup next year, must play in the CL to get noticed". We will just have to see.

I'm 100% perfectly content during this transfer window that we will not sell anyone we want to keep. I will remain so for a while to come.

I totally agree because our squad isn't that big compared to a lot of other teams. If we sell then would have to find a replacement and there is also disruption this causes.

My only concern, as much as I don't want to talk about it, is the World Cup. If Morgan went to United he pretty much books himself a ticket on that plane, if he doesn't....it's probably quite unlikely. I have no idea how much that might mean to him.

How did this come about anyway, was it just from that fans article, if so I'll risk putting my best pants back on.

"One caller told me #SaintsFC interested in a versatile right-back, who would seriously challenge Clyne. Expecting story in tomorrow's papers"

Hmmm...who are we thinking then? Gamez and Enrique are the names we have been most solidly linked with, still surprised we are after a RB to be honest.
