You honestly believe that Tan, who is running your club as a business and nothing more, is going to clear your debt for you with nothing in return? Now I know your not this deluded. You were convinced before that Tan had 'invested' in you guys. Then it came to light that he had infact just merely loaned you the money. He says he is now going to covert this into equity. You think that will be the end of it then? Tan will make money off you guys whether you choose to believe it or not.
Of course he will, he is a very shrewd business man. He said the Langston debt would be paid off, and it is. He said he would invest in expanding the training facilities, and he has. He said he would expand the stadium when we got to the prem, and he is. So what is your problem?

Swans-m Do you read the other CCFC boards as you seem to be getting confused yourself, Others have already said we fully understand the way VT is doing things at our club. So far he has been true to word and yes he will want to make money for his loan / investment, to him it is just a business (now with so emotional attachment it seems).
Exactly Eldon. This prat is alll over us like a rash and getting totally confused between reality and what is in his mind. We always knew that VT's money was by way of loan and would only be capitalised once the Langston debt was resolved. Why should he move his loans into shares and put himself in a potentially weaker position than Langston? I won't even try to explain the economic rationale behind that to swans-m. It would be a waste of time. That is where the numbskull's lack of understanding of English comes into play. We always understood VT's position and it has been commented to death in many previous threads. With the amount of time the alien poster spends on here you would have thought he might have read that previously and possibly understood what he was reading. Clearly not.
Are all Cardiff fans incapable of discussion without reverting to petty insults? Also for the record my English is fine and a degree would show that so is my understanding of business. If I were in Tan's position I would be laughing all the way to the bank, especially when the people your going to be making a fortune from are completely oblivious to it all happening.

The massive problem that our little brothers will have now is nothing to wum about and I feel for daiswan, what is he going to write about now. Obsession is a terrible thing and something they need help with, I haven't got a clue about anything that happens at their club and don't wish to either, don't comment on their board and basically don't give a **** about them
So enlighten us swans-m as to how VT will make a fortune from us, bearing in mind he has to recoup the 120 million he has "loaned" Cardiff City. I have my own view on how he's going to make money and expand his empire. A lot of it hinges on us being a successful premier league team. Also bear in mind he will need a club with no or manageable debt to enable him to float on the worlds market.

The moment he bought the club their was only one outcome, he was here to make money The basis of your debate is seriously flawed as most CCFC fans can actually see what is going to happen. Hope VT makes a decent amount off the club because without him we would be dead and buried and playing in the Conference or the Welsh leagues
Perfectly capable of discussion when I think someone has something reasonable and constructive to say. You don't, all you ever do is criticise and chip away like the total WUM you are. You have insinuated that we, as fans, don't appreciate the difference between lending and investing. You will find that we do - just read the numerous comments over the alst 2 years. Of course there are risks in what VT is doing - the biggest risk being to him and the £80m to £100m he has already put in. He stands to lose substantially more than anyone else but he is still putting his money in - reported to be £15m to clear the Langston debt. That will then allow him to capitalise much of his loan money into shares, much improve our balance sheet (loans to equity) and tie him in further as he can't ask for his share money back. He can only sell shares to redeem that. Okay that could mean him selling on the business to someone else as has happened in many clubs, e.g. Man Utd, Liverpool, Villa etc with varying degress of success. Also he has talked about floating the club on the Malaysian market thus bringing further investment. Will it all succeed? Who knows? You cannot say anything for certain, I think Swansea, with their signings, will have another good season but who knows. But can you with your business brain, apparently the size of Swansea Bay, come up with an alternative business model to that of VT's? So, lets have a discussion around that rather than just take cheap shots.
