Napoli have agreed a fee of €37m for Higuain apparently, just waiting for Higuain to sign. Madrid to sign Suarez then.

Can't see that changing anything. Only an offer above £50 Mil might make them reconsider their stance on Suarez.They already know Suarez wants to **** off, so he would only be making that formal with a transfer request.
Source? I do believe that Liverpool won't sell Suarez to us unless he really kicks up a fuss.
I think having a player who wants to leave is one thing but when that player formally hands in a transfer request it becomes a different matter, it forces the club to sell.
We'd all love to think clubs will play hard ball with power crazed players but the reality is £35m or whatever he gets sold for can be used to rebuild, making a player rot in the reserves will achieve nothing for Liverpool, sooner they get their hands on the cash the sooner they can consider replacements and the future...

That's normally the case, but for Liverpool selling Suarez, especially to us would be a huge dent on their reputation and would undermine everything they are tying to achieve for next season. I just can't see why they would do it. At this stage, they are probably hoping that Madrid come in with a decent offer.
I'd suggest if there's one club who have shown little regard for their reputation in recent years it's Liverpool !

I'm sure Liverpool would rather sell him to Madrid, even if they offer less. And now they're about to sell Higuain they probably will bid for Suarez.
They would and Suarez would also prefer Madrid.
If ye bid 41m first Madrid will at least match it and that's where he will go
