It is Suarez or bust now, why on earth would Higuain come to Arsenal when we consider him 2nd fiddle to Suarez, possibly even 3rd if you throw Rooney into the mix.

Arsena's transfer dealing have been a shambles this Summer. Considering we have not had to fight off interest on key players and we have a healthy some of cash in the bank, growing with interest every day, there are simply no excuses anymore. But just wait and see, people will find excuses.

Spend some ****ing money you boring bastards. A top 4 team that never wins anything and never does anything interesting. Terrible for the Premier League.

Even by Arsenal standards this window is turning into a joke.

I'm sure something will get done but Higuain looked nailed on a couple of weeks ago now there are at least 2 other clubs interested and that's even if Real decide to sell now. Suarez just isn't going to happen.

Wenger said something the other day about it being "hard to sign players this window". No excuses really.

I really don't get it. The money appears to be there, he seems to acknowledge the need to stick his hand in his pocket yet nothing.

If City can clinch 4 signings for around 20 million each in the space of a few weeks, I'm sure Arsenal could. Is it penny pinching again?

Hasn't the same happened for the past 6 seasons or so though? Always hear 'there's money there if we want to spend it' then a few weeks later 'it's too hard to sign anybody'. Although tbf I do think the Suarez bid was a statement of intent, but the fact you haven't upped your bid since suggests it was a ploy to hurry Real up or something like that.

We are in no hurry to spend money. I truly believe Wenger thinks his current crop are good enough to win trophies. I only pray that he will leave next Summer, because I can't take this anymore.

We can only wait and see. Should we end up with no one then this would be the worst transfer window bar none.
