Yeah it says "many like Damiao" not that he likes us. Piacere literally means "to please", so they say it backwards "it pleases me" rather than "I like it". So it literally says "Damiao pleases (or appeals to) many".

Ah yes I see... being dim. Thought you were having a pop at the third film. Not quite as good as the others but largely misunderstood and still an enjoyable watch.
