He's only Chav bound because they are determined to get him.If we showed some fight and desire to get him, who knows what could happen?? What's the use of Wenger coming out and saying 'We can afford Rooney" .. Is he confused? Are we going to make a bid or is this just more hot air? I dont know if its just the hot weather but I'm getting more and more annoyed with both the Manager and Gazidis every time they address our transfer situation. So we can afford big names?.. and Big wages.. but yet we havnt signed anyone. Here's a prediction: Wenger will come out and say "Nobody's available" after Rooney goes to Chelsea and Higuain goes to Napoli.
I would go. 1. Rooney 2. Suarez 3. Higuain I think Rooney would flourish under Wenger. We also now have a strong core of English players so he would feel pretty comfortable in the squad.
Rooney will play as a SS when his pace goes. Unlike most CF's he's a very good all round player so he can adapt.
Higuain claiming that Maureen wants to sign him http://metro.co.uk/2013/07/18/gonza...is-desperate-to-sign-me-for-chelsea-3888593/?
Don't know why its taken so long for Chelsea to be linked with him, its been such an obvious move since the end of last season
The plot thickens. If Higuain goes to Chelsea, then I can't see them buying Rooney too. Higuain has said that he doesn't want to go to Napoli, which suggests that we'd be in with a chance of signing either him or Rooney. Then of course there is the suarez deal. So realistically we could be in with a chance for any of them. Which kind of says everything and nothing at the same time
Lets see what Chelsea have to pay for him, at least then we'll know if it was us or Madrid messing around
As some have pointed out, wasn't he upset under Mourinho because he didn't play enough? Why would he then want to play under him elsewhere?
This isn't football related but it made me laugh http://newstoad.net/2013/07/17/edl-turn-on-each-other-as-sunshine-makes-them-look-mediterranean/
