If he leaves i can see him wanting to go to Chelsea. Hazard calling for him to join, typical Jose tactics lol
Regarding Hernandez, he has vastly improved the other aspects of this game this past year. He was getting much more involved in the bill up, even set up a few goals too. He's also mich stronger, but hasn't seemed to sacrifice his quickness, his second his biggest asset IMO. I think Chicharito deserves to start more. I think he'd be first choice at any other club bar possibly City in the PL.
According to The Sun. Chelsea would have to stump up £80m for Rooney (£52m in wages at £200k pw for 5 years and a £28m transfer fee) http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...t-splash-80-million-to-land-Wayne-Rooney.html
He is going. No one is bigger than the club and the way he is being pushed out is revenge for his hostage situation a few years back. Kagawa will be better and more playing time. Who knows, maybe Nani and Anderson will have increased fitness under Moyes.
as long as we get good cash for him, am happy to see the back of this muppet .. he had an average season yet whine why he is behind RVP in the picking order or why UTD not offering him more wages, despite his current Mega wages .. i said last season that i still never forgive him for what he did before, and seem he is doing same thing over again .. he is really becoming a source of disturbance in the club ..
Nani's issue has never been fitness, it's that he plays like **** most of the time. Anderson's issue has always been fitness, but normally puts in at least a decent shift.
Damn right drogs. Do you have the £50million plus we will demand off you for Rooney. Hes £25million to European clubs, even less if e need rid. He'll rot here if none come in and then you can have him in 2 years when lets be honest, only Newcastle will be interested. I mean its not like we have to sell.
I don't doubt we'll be charged more than a European club, but we'll never find out because none will come in for him. DL could be right about Monaco though but I'm sure Rooney wants CL football. If you really think your owners are going to keep a player on £1m a month just simply to 'rot" then I think you're in for a big shock.
I thought we were talking about Rooney and I think you will be surprised at how little effect player power has at United unless it benefits us substantially. Ronaldo - Wanted to leave but went for a massive fee. We benefited financially here. Rooney 2010 - Hands in transfer request but is flatly refused, new contract offered ( not 250k ). We benefit as at the time Rooney was our main man, losing him would of been worse than paying him more. Beckham - had become a celebrity not a footballer, the club needed to keep it about the club so we let him go to th one club who welcomes people like Beckham. RVN - Best days were gone, hampered the team even though he was brilliant and a legend. We became the best in the world by changing how we played. Many more but theres a few. Each time the club has benefited, either on the pitch or financially ( rarely both though ). So if he goes to Chelsea, expect a similar deal to Torres ( who Rooney is miles better than, he was back then and is now ). Also I doubt he will rot, even though he wants to leave atm, Rooney wont be able to last long without playing and will come crawling back with his apologies. He will play but his importance will be gone.
Nothing to do with player power, it's to do with having an unhappy player on millions of pounds on your books when he could be sold and replaced. As i said, you won't get a better price/offer from anyone after this window.
Our Chief Exec has already stated, we are not afraid to let contracts run down. Tht was certainly aimed at Rooney and at a guess done so because if he thinks he is off to Chelsea for anything other than silly money.... he's going to find himself very upset. Hes not on 250k either. He was unhappy last season and it it didnt affect the squad at all. I don't think we care about the fee either or if he goes on a free. Its not like we need the money as I said.
Come on, you know full well our clubs are ran very differently. Yours are out to make money at the end of the day, ours is more than happy to waste it. I know you as fans won't care if Rooney was left to rot, but your owners certainly will.
Rooney wouldnt last a month on the bench, he will come crawling back apologising and begging to be allowed to play again.
Howard Nurse ‏@howardnurse 5m So. Daily Mail is claiming Chelsea #CFC offer £10m plus Juan Mata or David Luiz for #MUFC's Wayne Rooney. Reply Would you take that drogs?
