Well they'll quite rightly be dishing it out again.

Our equivalent of their 'Champions of Europe'- except we're doing it by deed poll!

Or I do get it, I just think there are more important things. Maybe you are just over reacting.

There's obviously a lot of people on here with no experience of brand management and how valuable a brand's heritage is.

Takes years to build up, but can easily be destroyed overnight.

If Man City won't be able to do it, what makes them think we can we be successful in Asia? And there would be harm done. It would destroy the clubs heritage

People who aren't bothered about this aren't true City supporters - there I said it.

Bit sanctimonious to assume your point of view is the only valid one.

Why don't you tear up your season pass in protest, and stop going. That'll teach them!

I can't imagine the club doing anything that would make you stop going. Plastics have no principals. Jog on.

Don't understand why some people have an unquestioning obedience to the Allams. They can be wrong, and there's nothing wrong with questioning things.

For those who aren't bothered, or who actually think the re-brand might be a good thing, please could they state why?

"Because it makes Mr Allam happy" is not a good answer, before it's said.

Everyone's obviously entitled to their own opinion, but I'm finding it hard to understand how anybody can see throwing away a 109 year history as anything but a terrible thing to do.

The fact that there's absolutely no good reason for it, makes it even more ridiculous.

Little bit of a tantrum there? Shall we compare who has been going longest? Or will you spit your dummy out if it isn't you? My principals are different to yours, but just as valid.

For what it's worth, I think if that badge had the current tiger on it'd be better than what we have now.

Though saying that, I think having just the tiger's head on the shirts would look better. Though obviously now would be a dodgy time to change it.

I couldn't give a **** how valid your incorrect opinions are mate - I don't spend all day worrying about how 'valid' something is. I think you're talking out of your arse, is that valid?

Nothing to do with the Allams. As I've said before, I would rather they didn't change the name, but...........I just don't see it as that important if they do. It'll still be the same club, the same team, the same grounds, the same manager and mostly the same supporters. Why is it such an issue?

Why do some so called fans feel they have the right to call me a "plastic" just because I care more about the club then I do about the name. Probably the same people who think that "new" fans are "plastics" as well. Pretty short sighted view in my opinion, but each to their own.
