I did put 10K+. Congrats...can be fun being a big fish (please excuse pun) in a little pond...especially after having a bad time.
The money I paid for my season ticket would have bought three season tickets to watch Pompey.
Pompey need to get out of that league at first time of asking I reckon, they've sold a hell of a lot of season tickets on the back of the feel good factor of sort of owning their own club...but not really owning it. That won't last forever, and I'd be happy to wager they won't get anywhere near that total for a second year in the League.
Every team has a hard core of fans. We didn't all abandon Saints in League 1. I'm sure good old British bloody-mindedness will make them carry on supporting the club.
