Cliftonville are to sell around 500 tickets on Tuesday morning for their eagerly-awaited Champions League match against Celtic at Solitude. The tickets have become available because Celtic returned some of their allocation for Wednesday's game. "Celtic told us on Monday that they had not sold all their tickets," said Cliftonville chairman Gerard Lawlor. "It is great for the fans in Belfast because we are able to make them available locally." The tickets will go on sale at 10:00 BST on Tuesday with a limit of two for each person. "Fans in Belfast have been struggling to get tickets so it is good news for the local community in north Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland that around 500 extra people will get to see this game," added Lawlor. The match is the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Champions League and is the first time Celtic, managed by former Northern Ireland midfielder Neil Lennon, have played a competitive fixture in Ireland.

Always thought it was a stupid idea to have it so close to the 12th especially in that area. But Cliftonville wanted it that way to make more money and Celtic agreed.
