Oh... How have ours been disastrous? Not great but I think your going a bit far, they have been brilliant in every way bar the way they acquired the club. The simple fact is they dont get involved in the football side and thats all you can ask of owners. We have had financial backing and success without any off the pitch bullshit like at other clubs.

Let's start with saddling the club with a mountain of debt, followed by having to pay huge amounts of interest on loan repayments as a result of this. Then there's various members of the Glazer family lining their pockets with "consultant's fees" over the years. And there's the Glazer's pocketing half of the money raised on a share issue. Oh, and "borrowing" money from the club, and paying it back from the club's coffers rather than out of their own pockets. They don't get involved in the football side, but they certainly get involved with siphoning money out of the club which they treat as their own personal ATM.

Of course some of the things they have done are ****ish but I mean, if we were a PLC there would be more money taken from the club to pay shareholder so the Glazers taking money from the club they own is hardly something exclusive to United. The share issue was announced as a way of raising funds for the club - not Glazer saying "one pound for you, one pound for me" several millions times.
