  6. It's being reported that United hope to land Fabregas from Barcelona with a £25,000,000 offer. If that's true, he'll definitely go to United, despite all the bull5hite he came out with about "Arsenal being the only team I'll play for in the EPL." We all knew that was rubbish, but not the gullible Gooners.

What an utter slap in the face it will be for each and every one of them when their favourite son turns up at the Library sporting a proud red devil on his breast.

    Kiss the badge, son.

Arsenal appear to have a 50% sell-on clause for Fabregas though, plus Thiago's just left Barca to join Bayern. Seems an unlikely move to me, even if it's one that the player might fancy.

Do the tabloids really think Barca will take a £10m loss on a player they signed only two years ago, having chased them for a couple of years?

Or, to put it another way, do the tabloids think that Man Utd have £25m to spend on one player?

Not a chance Fabregas will end up at Man U.

Would the £10mill not include the £5mill Fabregas paid to escape Arsenal?

If nothing else it would be quite funny to see whether the Arsenal fans turn on him if he goes there.

Im sure there'd be some boos but I don't think it would be the same level as Judas gets.

For me personally it would hurt a lot more though..

Well said, YV. That was my point, exactly.

Remember, that PESKIE put a great deal of his faith and integrity into arguing that Fab wouldn't leave AFC.

Judas is scum to my mind. He made sure, by his flirtations with signing a new contract, that he lined his own pocket to the max, by making sure we didn't get a penny for him. He was duplicitous and dishonest throughout the whole saga. Obviously, any Spurs player who leaves to join you guys is not going to be popular, but special hatred was always reserved for him.

Traitorous scum of the first order.

I think Krome is referring to Robin van Persie as Judas, NSIS. You know, that player that they chose to sell to Man Utd for £24m.

I still remember the day like it was yesterday. Jokes aside I honestly thought someone would take a hit out on him.

I still think what G*llas did to us was almost as bad but it revecived nowhere near as much attention because it was "only Chelsea" and we were public enemy N.O 1 at the time following the Ashley Cole tapping up affair.

I think the lack of remorse from Campbell and washing his hands of Spurs + adopting Arsenal as "his club" makes it worse.

To my mind RVP cannot be compared to Campbell, who was more or less a Tottenham boy through and through (came through the academy). Arsenal fans hate RVP because in their prime they were main competitors with Man U for domestic silverware and over the last 3 years, Man U have gone from strength to strength whilst Arsenal haven't. The root of that frustration is with the club not the player itself. Campbell is a different story.
