Wow, who needs football. Best test match in years. Shades of edgebaston 2005 at the end. Literally everything happened. Loved it. Roll on Thursday.

Well it all sounded very good but as I don't have Sky I can't even watch any highlights. Had to sit through two fecking weeks of bloody tennis though, pity the BBC didn't spend our cash on sports that matter to the people rather than those that appeal mainly to the idle rich <grr>

There's an hour of highlights each day on channel 5. Or you could go to VIPbox and find a stream.

Well, the starter was quite nice, I wonder what the next four courses are going to be like <yikes>

Chuffed as a bunny with the win, but have to say I do feel for Brad Haddin. Top effort from him and Pattinson <ok>

I still like the 20 over format though. I think its going to get more popular.

Well, as a series opener, I can't remember too many better.
Superb cricket, mutual respect between both captains at the presentation, at least four worthy candidates for man of the match ( for me - Agar, Bell, Haddin - and Grant Holt wears Jimmy Anderson pyjamas when it's hot and muggy) <ok>

Totally brilliant. Bresnan for Finn at Lords, methinks :emoticon-0112-wonde

I think the only thing that can save Finn is that it's his home ground, and he normally bowls well there (I'm not going to lie, that's shamelessly ripped from TMS, not an original thought), so it'll be an interesting call for Cook. I'd bring Bresnan in personally, there's no point gambling on someone playing better at home when you've got a suitable replacement waiting in the wings.

Agreed re. Bresnan. He is now probably ahead on bowling alone and he is a MUCH better batsman.
