With Prior's dismissal it looks like we'll be relying on the small ginger one to steer us to some sort of total.

 

I reckon we need a lead of 225 to be safe on this pitch.

 

A lead of 220-250 will give us a decent chance I reckon. Any less and it'll be tight, probably with the Aussies as favourites.

 

A lot will depend on how fit Broad is so we can rotate the bowling.

 

Given that the Aussie killed sportsmanship I'm amazed no one's told them its dead.

 

Great day of cricket. Decent lead on the board already get this to 300 and this is England test to lose.
Superb innings from Bell. The man gets a lot of stick at times and yes he's been out if form but I'd argue he's out most complete batsman, when on form he's a pleasure to watch.

Its not been mentioned yet but what is everybodys opinion about the Stuart Broad "Dismissal"....should he have walked or not?

 

If this was a different test maybe is be disappointed but it's the ashes.

Would and Aussie have walked, my arse they would have.

 

Only worrying thing is if broad can dig in will some of the Aussies be able to as well only a couple of partnerships and they'll be close to what we'll set them
