    It's to do with their tax over there through reading the comments on the L'equipe article apparently that's why the L1 can't compete with the major leagues in Europe.

    Link plz cos I can't find it on the site although I did read that Cheik Diabaté's contract with Bordeaux has been extended till 2015 and Lille have bought a player called Pedretti to replace Cabaye.

    Looks like Mr Warr was spot on with regards to the whole Villa manager situation. Called Houllier leaving (not that that was a surprise) before the press, and as soon as he was officially gone said Mark Hughes was their only candidate and to bet on him, and now he's resigned from Fulham.
