No breakthrough for England yet this morning. The new ball has been taken and will hopefully bring a wicket or two.

The match currently has Edgbaston 2005 written all over it right now, IMO. Strap yourself in...

I get that feeling too. It's my dad's birthday and we're meeting my parents for lunch. I imagine there's going to be a lot of phone checking going on.

Last night after a couple of wickets, I felt confident. Woke up this morning and thought that the Aussies have a good chance of getting that score unless we get a couple of early wickets before the bowlers tire. Think things are swinging their way.

Turned on the cricket, second ball, wicket. You're welcome as always, England.

Seems a pro and con of the new ball within the first 5 overs. Runs flow easier, but nicks carry further.

Same again. 8 down! Siddle can bat a bit but it will need something amazing for Australia to win from here.

I get the feeling that Jimmy will be allowed one more over, if needed, but that will be it.
