Andy, I know full well it was about the Friday just gone, but he said that was at the EARLIEST, inferring that it could and probably would be later!
Tbh, even reading this article it says that he doesn't want to come to us, so I think it's off. I'm not unduly bothered as most of us greeted the news we were trying to sign a central defender with some surprise as we already have 3 quality players in that position and recognised this was an opportunistic means of improving overall team quality. If we don't get him it's no great loss. From my perspective an AM is key and a striker. I think Fer is a done deal which is great news alongside Redmond and the wolf. I'm still convinced we will get Hooper so, for me it's a question of who fills the AM role which is key
I can't believe people are still getting all het up by - or even been paying attention to - anything Andy says! He's been our resident WUM for years now, he's very clever in the wayhe does it, he's very subtle but a wind up merchant he most certainly is. It's been obvious to me for ages and it amazes that people still get themselves all vexed by what he says - almost on a daily basis!!

This just in: Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that Leroy Fer passed his medical and has reached an agreement over his contract with Norwich. The deal will likely be finalized later on Saturday.
