I'd have thought my point was pretty obvious, obviously not. If Bullard, with two ****ed knees, can pass a medical, attract a £5M fee, £45k per week in wages, a four and a half year contract, with NO relegation clauses, and at the ripe old age - in terms of a professional footballer - of 29....then I don't think Charlie Austin will have a problem securing a pretty normal contract without having to go down the pay as you play route <ok>

Hmmm, think I've quoted wrong. I don't mean Leyton Orient or League 1. Unbelievably there is a team called L'Orient in Ligue 1 (French Premier League). I think he could be a cheap option, he's better than what we have currently upfront... Aaron McLean?
 
ah yeah L'Orient.. know them well.
when my uncle lived in france, he went to see them a few times.
took me to see them in 95.
I didnt really appreciate it, I was more interested in french birds and lager.

I didnt have my head screwed on right.

He's absolutely gash, he scored 1 in 29 for Arsenal and for Boro he scored 4 is his first season and 2 in his second, 7 goals in 87 games.

Michael Turner's got a better strike rate.

Mentioned him before, he was available for as little as £1m at the start of Summer; he'd be the perfect foil for Aluko and whoever else we bring in and can play out wide if needs be.

I'd snap their hands off if he's available. Just wonder about his wages but if he wants to come back to the PL, he'll take a pay cut
 
Same TK as before saying Reading and Forest bidding for Austin for "less than £2million" !!! ...Apparently Burnley need cash and have been offering him out to clubs for £2million with a bit of interest but no takers, now Reading and Forest are trying to get him for even less.

Double checked on Odemwingie, he said still looks likely to go to Palace, but as we've shown an interest he'd be surprised if he doesn't speak to us to see what we could offer him first.

A new name too - apparently we made a "casual call" to Bolton last week regarding the availability of Chris Eagles, said he doesn't see it going any further than that though.
 
Just seen Bendtner's name in the HDM Transfer Talk section, really hope we do go for him. He could do a very similar job to what marlon king did for us.
 
Don't know about Bendtner. Had an absolutly crappy last season. It's not like our players will have a lot of time to find their form, we can't really afford that. If we can get him cheap, yes. Otherwise no.
