I'm more okay with affray, than I am with rape.

Yeah, me too.

But I'd still be interested in finding a bit more detail about Mboyo's actual involvement. Seems odd that he's accepted in Belgium. Don't see that we have any stronger moral standards than them normally, so do they know something we don't?

There might be people in Belgium saying the same about England's acceptance of Lee Hughes.

Do you mean on the Death by Dangerous Driving conviction or the sexual assault charge? Either way he does come over as a cock who I wouldn't want at City (and he's crap anyway)

He was also 27 at the time of the first and 36 at the time of the second, which in my book means you should have stopped making the stupid mistakes you make at 16.

So if the people in Belgium think he's a twat, then I agree with them. So why are they ok with Mboyo?

Bearing in mind Mboyo was capped for Belgium after the offence and Lee Hughes has not been capped at all. (in any meaningful way).

Yes the whole country knows a big secret and are refusing to spill the beans. <whistle>

My point was, that most people here aren't okay with Hughes and I suspect that most Belgians are not okay with Mboyo.

Yeah, I can see that now. I can understand why a club side would play him if it meant winning, but you might have thought the National side would be a little bit more media savvy.

You'll have to google it, but Scotland were apparently unimpressed that Belgium had called him up just before their Euro qualifier. Belgium didn't really care and the manager's sentiments pretty much echo everything I said on the last thread.
