Haggis I think we have to leave some of the others for someone else. Does PDC know that they will all want wages
Some quality replacement work there by PdC. If we get them all and Poalo can get them gelling together we may have a decent season for a change.
Peruzzi, Rose, Giaacherini & one more forward will do for me till Jan. I wouldn't mind us going for Franco Di Santo he is a free agent after leaving wigan. The lad always put a good shift in when he played
From eerything ive been hearing mate, we aren't spending ridiculous wages on these guys... nothing like Keano's era which has hampered us till the end of last season. Bramble on 50k a week? ****. Supposedly we are only offering the Italian guy Giancceni 20k a week... and the same with Peruzzi. Can get more guys in for less. I think our days of offering ridiculous wages are over!
Bloody hell , I can`t keep up with all this. I know didley **** about any of them . But **** me its exciting .
1.7m a year for Giaccherini. Not sure if that's euros or pounds but is most likely about 30,000 a week which is in no way ridiculous.
Agreed mate... a full Italian international on 30k a week.. or Titus on 50k a week. I know which I'd prefer. Ellis is doing what needs to be done, what us fans have asked for years. I reckon he should be knighted. Even as a yank.
http://www.football-italia.net/36302/report-giaccherini-sunderland-deal Pretty much a done deal. Gerrin'!
Also, scouring some other targets... what about this? http://www.football-italia.net/36204/gattuso-admits-hernandez-could-be-sold Anyone remember Hernandez?
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-Sunderland-wait-to-seal-Gino-Peruzzi-signing Sunderland will have to wait until the weekend to complete the signing of Argentinean full-back Gino Peruzzi. Buenos Aires side Velez Sarsfield had said that the 21-year-old would fly to Wearside on Thursday to finalise his move but he will now not arrive in England until the weekend. A statement on Velez's official website read: "Given the imminent transfer of Gino Peruzzi to Sunderland Association Football Club, finally next Sunday, July 14, both the player and the directors Julio Baldomar and Eduardo Ordonez will travel to England to complete initial contracts between the parties and thus close the sale." The Black Cats are also closing in on Juventus midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini, with manager Antonio Conte having told reporters the Italy international is leaving to help ease the financial burden on the club. This transfer is definitely a step in the right direction! The one i am most excited about!
Peruzzi talking about his move to Sunderland from the airport (Buenos Aires) earlier today. He's on the plane... it's a long flight though ~ 12 hours. http://www.tycsports.com/notas/81910-los-dirigentes-se-manejaron-mal He says there are a few details to sort out but he's looking forward to playing for sunderland and being in the premier league.
