On one level, perhaps, and a superficial level, too. But mainly, this thread is an attempt to engage in a serious debate about 'Pool's continuing spiral down into obscurity and the fading of what used to be a fairly decent club. This thread is also the forum to discuss (again, in serious tones) the paranoia of Mousers, a paranoia that has been heightened by utter despair and the certain knowledge that 'Pool's glory days are now gone forever. This most certainly is not a wum thread.
P.S. I'd like notso banned for calling me a 'dikhead'. I believe that constitutes a personal insult. Many thanks.
I'm pretty sure there have been a few attempts to make them but unfortunately there wasn't enough material to keep them going. Feel free to carry on your intellectual debates on your board if you want but we like a laugh over here. Banned?! If we banned everyone for that we'd have no one left. Plus you called me "Yid" Notso please don't call Gaf a dikhead
As I said above, this isn't a thread, it's a forum for a particular never-ending discussion. I expect this discussion to last until the end of time, itself.
In one breath you say thhis thread is following our great clubs fall into obscurity. Then you say that this thread will go on for all time. Surely this means Liverpool will never actually completely fall? Otherwise this thread would have no purpose in the future
Why do players always do this when they move to 'Pool? Have they not been watching the EPL for the past four seasons? Have they not watched 'Pool get further and further behind us top teams? If Toure truly wants a chance of CL footy, why didn't he push for a move to Spurs? He must know that we are better placed to help him achieve that goal? It's all well and good have a "winning attitude," but unless it is matched with a healthy dose of realism, the player simply ends up looking... well, simple.
