According to the BBC Arsenal have had a £30m bid for Suarez turned down. Can't see why he would remain in England the pressure on him will be even greater at another English club.

The train explosion in Canada is crazy. 40 people missing as a train carrying crude oil explodes.

I was in Cairo and Alexandria on business just before, then just after riots during the last revolution 2-3 years ago. I couldn`t spot the difference. It`s always a shambles - a bit like certain parts of Portsmouth:wink:

The whole of this country is becoming a mess. I went up Shirley high street the other day. I lost count of how many pawn brokers, pound shops and closed down pubs there were.

There are two "The money shops" within half a mile of each other, with that scoundrel David Dickinson, in his spiv suit leering out of the window display.

You`re right PM - some areas of Aberdeen are no different, despite being a comparitively affluent area.

Trouble is, Hampshire have concentrated all their efforts into the one day formats for a long time now.

There's even a pound shop in Palmerston road precinct Southsea now. It's got a picture of Quagmire on the sign. Giggety!

Should have popped into mine PM. I'm not sure what is worse, the closed pubs or the open ones. Anyway I'm moving soon :)

St Albans has 53 pubs. We must all be alcoholics because none of these places are closing down.

Massive twat even if he's found not guilty. If he's found guilty he'll get what he deserves (or maybe not, knowing the British justice system).

Ah, Nile. My old manager used to know him through football coaching and would always defend him (to some extent) when I said he was a wrong 'un. I also used to know a couple of girls who know him. One actually dated him. She doesn't say too much about him but I never got the impression she was proud to be associated with him. The other girl basically just used to laugh about what a dick he is.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have agreed a fee of 5.1 million Euros for David Villa. What a bargain.
