I think the media are finally getting the idea about Luke Shaw. He's said several times that he doesn't want to leave Southampton, and finally the penny has dropped with the first of the sports news media. Well today The Sun said he will sign a 5yr 25k a week contract.

west brom after kalou. He has a £2.6m release clause apparently. Has to be worth a discussion. He's exactly the sort of direct winger/striker I think we are lacking, premiership experience and would fit straight in.

west brom after kalou. He has a £2.6m release clause apparently. Has to be worth a discussion. He's exactly the sort of direct winger/striker I think we are lacking, premiership experience and would fit straight in.

Agree, he'd be a good signing for us. Probably won't happen though. Imagine his wage demands would be on the high side, and he's surely have more attractive options (than West Brom also).

Not much else to talk about! The club have stepped up the media stuff a lot recently so that might be why.

.....though saying that, there is a rumour beginning that Barca are looking at him as a replacement for Thiago Alcantra. I think we might come off second best to Barca
