I put up 4.40 Haydock Ducal 14/1 on his last start when Shane Kelly absolutely ****ed his chances with a pathetic ride as he got him stuck behind horses in a 6 runner field still on the bridle with 1f to go and when he got a run it was all too late. This is definitely a better contest but there is a lot of pace on today which should be ideal and I think he can make his presence felt today under Pat Dobbs.

Master was that his fault? I thought he gave it a good ride, just not good enough.

Had a good feeling today and nearly came out of my betting shell to have a decent accumulator bet on:

Caucas 9/4
Al Khazeem 9/4
Wentworth 4/1
Culdaff 3/1
Pythagorean 7/2

Glad I didn't. Will power. Or just chicken.

I took Mars during the week at 11/2 fora point. I don't think you can be ultra confident about any of this field so I've gone for the one horse who could be a lot better than he's been able to show so far. I wouldn't back him at the 9/2 best price that's available now.

My main bet tomorrow is a strong plunge on Caucas at 9/4 in the 4.25 at Sandown.

Strong Estimate form. Good jockey. Great staying stable. I'm wearing my punting pants again.
