Does anyone have any contacts or access to info about the medical tent? Is this the first time an Ahly player will have used it? Ps. Sending a player here for rehab won't get them off the wage bill.
Nobody said it would. The implication was they're happy to send him here for rehab in the hope we sign him and take him off the wage bill.
As Gedo was playing for us when he got injured, Assem offered to pay for surgery in the UK and cover all his medical bills.
Gedo has tweeted that he is coming back to Hull to speak to Steve Bruce. A fit Gedo is a very good option for us. Knows where the goal is. Wont be that bad either on wages. Knows the team and keeps our profile up in Egypt.
Id more than happily take hime as a back up striker once he fully recovered, but not worth a starting place in the PL. The deal however, would only really make sense if Fryatt was sold, id say they are both at a similar standard, so if we can sell Matty for just over a mill and buy Gego for under a mill id say thats fairly good business.
Gedo's only tweet about coming to England... Mohamed Geddo ‏@geddo15 Back to England to complete the final stage of my rehabilitation....4 weeks and will be ready to play insha'allah. Did you think 'insha'allah' meant Steve Bruce in Arabic?
You are forgetting the 2 more likely scenarios. Either Gedo text Tickles and told him direct, or they bumped into each other in KFC
Tickles tried to back up one of his ridiculous claims, by suggesting it was true because the lads at his snooker club agreed with him.
For what it's worth, an Egyptian lad in our old-timers league is pretty confident Gedo will return to City, especially now that the Eygptian League may well be suspended again with all the political turmoil going on over there. He's also suggesting that Fahti may well return too. He seems to know his stuff, but then again he could be just hearing speculative "rumours" from his sources in the Middle East, much like we do. He rates Fahti highly.
