I think we're serious about anyone who is available, will improve the team and can be got for less than Man City/Chelsea money. The club have made a big point of emphasising the financial constraints we've operated under for a few years now, they've made some big statements in recent weeks about competing with most in the transfer market. Whether our budget is £50m or £70m I think we'll end up with 3 big signings this Summer, don't get me wrong I'm still not sold on the defence/keeper and would like to see some upgrade so I don't think 3 players will have the league won by Easter, but I do think we'll compete and that's all I want. Watching us roll over and die is painful and in recent years it's been more than once a season and in games that matter and against big rivals...
