If you're really that shy just add her on facebook and ask her via there. You'd find out if she had a boyfriend without even talking to her. Or if you don't want to ask her out via facebook you could certainly become more friendly with her until you're pretty sure she'd say yes when you ask her in real life.

It's not so much shyness, it's just I don't want to increased any potential awkwardness by doing it infront of people who both of us know. Also, I generally don't add people to Facebook without asking if I can first..... It's just a policy of mine, although I suppose policies can always changed if needed to.

Why do you need to ask permission to add someone on facebook?

Honestly I'd break this policy if I was you. Personally I'd find it weirder if someone I barely knew asked to add me on Facebook than if they just did it anyway.

You think it's weird to add someone on Facebook without asking permission, but not weird to sleuth your way into finding their private phone number..?

Touché.

I'm officially abandoning that policy as of now.

Though asking a mutual friend isn't so much sluething, but I get what you're saying, that it's no different to adding someone on Facebook without asking them.

Here we go again. PL making a late bid to get to the front of Beefy's Thread before a mod renews it. :)

Well, hopefully you've accumulated enough by now, because here goes. Don't post until the next one appears.
