Instead of Saint Victor we could always change it to "Money grabbing massive c**t Victor and his equally money grabbing agents who are complete c**ts"?

What's the latest, guys? Nothing in the news up here that I'm aware of.

Cheers

Gone quiet on our front, which usually means actual business is being done. However whether that business is with us is doubtful. You'd be better off asking the Cardiff board.

Ohhh I canny go on the Cardiff board - my innoculations aren't up to date.

Cheers for the info x

Nothing new, we wont pay his agents a treasure chest for being money-grubbing glorified middle men, from our point of view it's just about whether any other teams will match the transfer fee, if not they may come crawling back. My personal hunch is that they will be crawling back but it will be back up to Glasgow rather than down to the sunny south coast!

What do you think Nicola would do if Wanyama's agent called us back (not that I think he will)? Is NC a pragmatic businessman or is he the type to stomp off in a huff.

His reputation as stubborn and inflexible is massively exaggerated, as plenty of our other transfers, and Puncheon's return to favour, illustrate. He would act rationally and I'm sure the offer is still on the table.

"Are you ready to stop playing games and start doing business?" *brings hands together bearing a menacing grin*

He would then go on to confuse the agents into paying us and they would give Victor to us wrapped in a bow.

Think we are looking at other targets now. Whether it's to gee Victor along, or to be a genuine alternative, I'm not quite certain.

I doubt Cortese is even giving him a second thought or making any push to sign him, but the offer is still probably on the table if his agents decide they don't want to be dickwads anymore. I think the ship has sailed though, shame as I think he would have been near perfect for us, but I'm glad and proud that we go about our business 'the right way'... Our Honour Is True... Our Vision Is Clear... :p

Yeah, it's possible the unreasonable agent fee demands are a tactic to try and delay a deal in the hope other (bigger) teams come in for him. In which case the agent is simply doing his job - trying to get the best deal for his client. However, the comments made by the agent in the press suggest to me they may just not want to come here.

If they did call Cortese back I doubt he'd completely rule it out. I imagine his response would depend on what other options we've pursued and how any other negotiations are progressing.

Hold on to your hats people, this could get interesting. A Celtic fan who runs a few Celtic based blogs and stuff has just tweeted something that may be of interest.

Apparently Wanyama has sacked Rob Moore and Ivan Modia.
