They also said it on talk sport today.

What about FFP though. Where does that come into the equation?

Isco won't sign for City because FFP means they will be rubbish.

FFP hates City and wants them to die <ok>

just have to laugh at City.

tevez cost them £100million ( 47million transfer, 17million a year wages - what juve paid ), sulked for half his time there but was a major part of why they won anything. Without Tevez they wouldnt of won anything so far.

They have also signed players who are littl better than average for a ****load of money.

    Idiots.

Cost the owner 100m, prob didn't even blink just like Roman when he blew 30m and 50m on Sheva and Torres.

How much did ye blow on Veron?

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Edinson Cavani. Jose Mourinho's side have offered the Uruguay international a five-year deal and will pay the striker £7.2 million per season.

tbh i doubt UTD were ready to pay his price tag and wages .. I think Chelsea link was more serious than our one
let us hope he end up like another Torres and Sheva <ok> <laugh>

Really? Why would we need him? We already have enough strike force, we were scoring plenty even without playing well last season. If we were going for a striker, I'd like it to be someone like Chicharito, a relatively unknown.

I don't watch Italian football so know very little about Cavani. I did google him though and noted that his international goal scoring record was compared with Jermain Defoe's. 50 million seems a lot on that basis.

That said, he looks like the big striker Mourinho likes to use as the focus of his attritional, grinding style of football that is so attractive to watch.

Well you can't compare Cavani with Defoe, Defoe is an out and out poacher, Cavani gives a lot more and has a physical presence too, Having said that, he isn't the best striker in the world, so no way 50 million, maybe 35 million is about right, as he's been superb for a few years.

that is a great deal for a very good player, the guy is really a very good prospect, imo he is as good as lukaku but technically better
