Surprised that Hull have not come in for him, he apparently had a good loan spell there, and they could use a new GK.

 

Sunderland definitely need a new goalkeeper

 

why would he go to hull when he has an offer from sunderland. both PL teams, but sunderland are a lot better and have more of a chance to make him look a good keeper. also di canio is a fellow italian.

 

Cause DiCanio is as mad as a hatter whereas Steve Bruce.....oh wait.

 

Also Mingolet has gone to Liverpool, so Mannone is likely to push for a starting place

 

Lewandowski turned down Real. He's only going to sign for Bayern, either this season, or next for free.

I've been thinking for a bit that we could do with a really top quality winger as we've been missing one for quite some time now, and the situation at Real Madrid has seemingly made Angel Di Maria available. I would love it if we threw Madrid £50 million for Higuain and Di Maria. Sign a CM and back up CB with the £20 million left and that would leave us with an incredible team.

I've probably been playing FIFA too much.

We should look at Jeremy Menez who has a year left on his contract at PSG and is not getting regular playing time.

 

He's not good enough for Arsenal.

 

He is better than all our wingers apart from Walcott. He is quick, can beat his man, creative, intelligent, good finisher, versatile, 2 footed. We could get him for as little as £5M-£6M which would be a bargain.

 

It'd just be like signing Podolski again, but worse.

 

Really don't rate di Maria. His first touch is disappointing.
