You said they could not sign him, not would not because they already have too many better than him.

Suarez wants Real, but Real want Bale, Liverpool wants to keep Suarez and Spurs want to keep Bale.

Personally I dont think that Real will go for Suarez as he is not marketable enough, (infact everyone outside of Liverpool fans and Uruguay detest the guy.lol)

They want Bale, and you can see why, although as a player I would put him and Suarez as equally talented. Bale has the potential to be a true Galactico.

Personally I hope Suarez stays at liverpool and Bale stays at Tottenham.

But its win win for both of us either way. You lose Bale, you make mega profit, We lose Suarez we make mega profit.

Unfortunately, irony is preparing to boot someone in the bollocks. If you keep Bale, he will no doubt get horrifically injured at the start of next season.

If we keep Suarez he will also end up being out for an extended period of time. (Whether this will be injury or other is not clear.)

It's the goals + assists table from this season, Dempsey actually comes out very well.

I think the only thing many fans care about with Suarez is that if he leaves we can't replace his level of talent. The bite and his attitude since the end of the season have soured his reputation with many of us, myself included.

I don't do apologies, but I appear to have wrongly tarred you with a certain brush. :D

Like us, you have had your best players prised away before, I bet you lot said the same thing after Torres. Chin up!

When Torres left I was absolutely gutted because I didn't think he would right up until (literally) the minute it was confirmed.

Still can't stand seeing him on a football pitch and unashamedly enjoy him being a shadow of his old self. Strangely don't feel this for any other player.

Suarez though is different... we literally don't have the money/standing to replace his quality properly. Unfortunately he's making himself impossible to like.

I've said it many times before on this very thread, and its precursor, that this is a thread for serious debate among us Spurs fans (and friendly rival fans) regarding the decline and fall of 'Pool, and the ever-increasing delusion among its Mouser fan-base. Whilst mild and intelligent wumming is permitted, out-right abuse cannot and should not be tolerated.
