Not to wallow about the departure for an undisclosed a.k.a embarrassed to make public as we've been bummed fee, instant move on.

Welcome to nets Westie, and to forget that Belgian lad who we used to have, forgotten his name already, some appreciation for our new numero uno. He's Irish you know, like potato's.

So, a game, say I love Westi because...... and add your bit, and I will post the link to the thread to the SAFC official Twitter, let the lad know that a) he's number 1, and b) we are comfortable with this.

Curious as to who the backup is going to be…

Will Pickford get his chance or do we buy in a young keeper?

Pickford said himself he wants a loan in the football league.

Sensible lad, we'll need to bring someone in as numero dos.

Like I said a couple of days ago, once they leave they can **** off. Mig didn't want a new contract apparently (if the club are to be believed) so we've sold the twat for a pittance imo. I care very little now about the future of Simon Mignolet and whether he is number one there or not. Don't give a ****e.

However its done now, so moving on its good luck indeed to Kieran Westwood our new number one. He has looked canny tbf to him when we've seen him and I look forward to seeing him become our main stopper, ably supported by a new one hopefully in the coming weeks.

I love Westi because he would never have lost his place in the first place if it wasn't for injury and feel more than safe when he's between the posts.

Westwood should have been number one last season,as he was arguably the better keeper, but Mig got his chance and played a blinder. It's now up to KW to prove that he is the real deal !!Good luck, lad!

i love westi becauase he was number one before he got crocked and then mignolet couldn't be dropped, and because although he's not the shot-stopper mignolet is, i feel much better with westi coming for crosses.

p.s., good luck migs. wish you'd actually made the step up to a bigger club, but you'll play the same matches we do next year mate...

He's our keeper our Irish keeper kieran Westwood.
A Westwood a Westwood a Westwood a Westwood aaaaaahhhhh Westwood.

    Much better ring to it.

I think we will be fine with out mig Westwood is great keeper.
Plus like what was mentioned above mig did not want to sign a new deal so we had to sell him or lose him for nwt
    in 2 years

He knows how to catch & roll the ball out from the back to OUR players rather than punching or hoofing it away. I can't wait to see him once his shot stopping starts.

You appear to have overlooked the fact that with our new brilliant defence he won`t have to do that very often. <whistle>

Interesting that Brendan Rodgers says that Mig will develop better as a goalkeeper at a club like Liverpool. I would have thought his goal keeping would come on treat with amount of practice he gets between the sicks with Sunderland. Maybe he is expecting the Bin Dippers to have a shoite season
