Anyone getting the feeling that a lot of big name players don't wanna sign for us because we're still considered a small club? It's quite embarrassing really.

It's not embarrassing, it's football. There are perhaps three or four teams in all of football for which there are no players that consider them too small to join.

well this is a stupid statement. Its not embarrassing - I don't think we are considered a small club - but given the choice to join us or a 'big name' club, or a club in the Champions league or even the Europa league - as a player it wouldn't be a hard choice.
 
"Big names" don't always win you trophies look at QPR. If a player doesn't want to sign for us then let them go. They are the ones that are missing out. Had your chance move on.
 
If we are looking for a defensive midfielder I think Fernando Gago would be a good shout. He is available for around 3 million, is still on 27, is a good all round technical player and brings vast experience. I think he would be a good fit to compete with Jack and Morgan.

As I understand the situation
Saints offer £12m but will only pay 1/2 agents fee
Cardiff offer £10m and will pay all agents fee
Which deal is best for celtic ? you can do the maths this still has a bit to run yet

I know they shouldn't have to but even if Cardiff paid the amount of agents fee we aren't willing to pay, they would still get the better deal if he comes to us!
