Are agree with your early comments but I disagree about the Phil Brown team talk affecting the players. It was Phil Brown's tactics and big headedness which were the problem.
I wasn't necessarily implying that the Phil Brown on-the-pitch team talk affected our form, just that it's one of the embarrassing occasions during our Season which everyone seems to be quick to refute.

Just think about it, besides tradition, why should we be "city". Why do you think skysports pundits call us "Hull"... because there are no other ****ing football club in the city. How often do you refer to Coventry as Coventry city... how often do you refer to Swindon as Swindon town... We're all culpable of doing it.

Because it's sufficient when talking to people knowledgeable about sport in Hull and to stop confusion over Hull FC and Hull City.

I don't think people in Coventry say "Coventry" - they will say "City".

I GET THAT but the point is it's about time we kinda looked outside the little bubble that is Hull. You can't expect anyone else to specify by saying city.

They can't stop you from saying city, they not asking you to, it's obviously to make the club more accessible.

being called Hull Tigers wouldn't bother me much at all infact it may help us getting called by our name coz everyone calls us Hull and thats just annoying if im honest.

It wont affect my love for the club , its quite unconditional really and i will still call them City for short to anyone who i speak to who wouldn't assume i meant a team in Manchester .

Whats so wrong with Hull Tigers ? other than it sounding like a franchise :/

This is why when I read posts calling the Allams God , gods Son and talking about trusting them 100% I worry!

Now is the perfect time for them to put whatever plans they have in place..
everything is rosy and no one would dare to question them.

They are drip feeding the changes in I have no doubt a name change is on the cards but who are we mere mortals to question such gods!!

Just.

****.

Off.

I said the same thing, its a planned change all this "re-branding" would it have happened if we hadn't been promoted? Maybe it would - but not this quick.
While we are excited and all talking about big signings, being in the Prem, patting the Allams on there backs for getting us here I think they have seen it as a great opportunity to push on with the re-branding.
This needs to be seriously questioned before its too late.

I love the rebranding if I'm honest. In fact, the only way it could get any better is by adding the word 'the'.

THE Hull Tigers.

Love it. Sort it out Alan.

Perfect example!
How dare I ask questions?
Well done and thanks for your advice.

You're not asking anything, you're questioning the morals and ethics of someone who's put more into Hull, and our beloved Tigers than you ever will. But the internet and a keyboard gives you the right to do that, and to come up with stupid conspiracy theories.

How about worrying about us not having a club if you need to worry about stuff that's not going to happen.

PS Read the notes from the fan group OLM and some others on here went to, this very question was asked.

I'm with you and Alan on this bob, but maybe we need to get rid of the Hull bit. It's got negative connotations as we all know.

I'm thinking The White Tigers.
