I'm excited by the prospect of Wanyama but part of me can't help thinking of guys like Barry Ferguson and Stilian Petrov who were never quite as good south of the border as they were in the SPL.

He is world class, I promise. Petrov's been great in the PL anyway.

That has since changed to 'the majority of signings'. Still, I'd expect a lot to happen in the next week or so.

Drenthe is a good player with a ****ed up head. If he can keep it calm he will be great for them, but I think he will lose his head halfway through.
