EDIT: Just seen that Doncaster Rovers have made a bid to take John Guidetti on loan from Manchester City. That'll be a hell of a coup if it comes off.

One hell of a statement indeed however as olm says it wont happen. But hey god loves a trier and you dont get if you dont try. Would more than happily have him here on a season loan.

Cardiff have met the £8m asking price for Tom Ince. That's a statement of intent from them, can see them spending big money this year.
.

Sadly it means nothing. Cardiff will need alot more than Tom Ince imo. Spending big money is also no guarantee of success. Just look at DQPR last season. Maybe this will push Liverpool into action over Tom Ince though.

I liked what Steve Bruce told Burnsy after the Cardiff ganme..""Mr Allam could give me £100m to spend and i could not guarantee Hull City staying up"". You need quality yes but also bags of effort - desire and team work/spirit which we do have.

Higuain has apparently agreed a £120k a week deal at Arsenal.
Club record £22m deal.

Fools and money spring to mind. What with ^^^ this and Andy Carroll yesterday the silly money deals are in full swing.

It is a brilliant signing nonetheless. He is Real's best striker. Stupid wages though as is the norm now.
(Ronaldo is a winger, before anyone argues)

A massive gamble by the desperate Gunners. The fact that Real Madrid also no longer want him says much more as well. It will be interesting to see how he gets on like.

Billy Sharp has told SSN that he has not agreed anything with Reading despeite national media reports linking him with a move to the Royals.
