Looks like NP is staying put then! I'm sure he'll do a good job down there, providing he isn't a victim of the circus that is the West Ham board.
 
Its an astute move and I could see him getting a team promoted from the champ, but seen as West Ham are supposed to play nice football the fans might soon get on his back if its hoofball all the time.

not enough fans fully appreciate the spectacle that is hoofball, it is like an art form
 
he wouldn't normally be in the West Ham mould, as you say, but I suspect he'll be expected to emulate Newcatle under Hughton and get back up ASAP even if they're boring..

And then sack him, giving a 5 year contract to Di Canio or someone. Maybe Pardew will be available by then.
